Any family details you’d like to share?
Only child, no animals yet but I love dogs. We are waiting to get a dog until we own a home. (maybe in a year) And I recently got married!
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
Huge movie goer, Sunday’s at the dad’s house watching football, Mariners games at Safeco field, and Sounders games.
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order?
I love Mexican. I am a sucker for tacos or enchiladas.
You meet someone at a coffee shop – what do you order?
Frappuccino, I am not a coffee person.
Favorite book/movie/tv show?
I love reality tv shows, the list is endless… oh and the Walking Dead.
Are you involved with or favor a particular charity or community organization?
Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation. My grandfather had Alzheimer’s and my husband’s grandfather has it currently.
Ali Walker
Where were you born?
Monroe, Washington
Any family details you’d like to share?
I am a newlywed and the proud pet parent of Chief, a Greyhound rescue and two cats (who Chief is afraid of) Marsha & Moe. My husband and I are happily settled in our first home in Monroe, WA!
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
I am a Seattle University Alumni! My husband and I enjoy spending time with our families and our extended pet family! I enjoy cooking and baking (my mom calls me Martha Stewart), going to the gym, going to Mariner’s games and going camping with family!

I’ll skip to the good stuff: brownie sundae.

Trick question: we would meet at a donut shop.
Are you involved with or favor a particular charity or community organization?
Now that I'm done with college and the wedding is behind us I plan to get more involved. In the past I have volunteered in elementary school classrooms in Monroe and Seattle, and volunteered at a lunch program for homeless folks in Seattle. Ever since we adopted Marsha, I would also like to be more involved in animal shelters!

Any family details you’d like to share? I am the youngest of 3 siblings, married with no kids, but have a very energetic shorkie(shih-tzu/yorkie) pup named Jaks.
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects? My husband and I love to take long drives to galivant, eat and see different places around WA, OR, and BC. I also love to bake and cook different desserts and dishes from around the world. If it looks good, let's make it!
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order? I love and eat just about anything and everything! My favorite restaurants are Korean BBQ restaurants where you cook your own meats and Italian restaurants too!
You meet someone at a coffee shop – what do you order? Starbucks: An iced soy latte topped with half-n-half or a hot soy latte w/no foam and a croissant.
Are you involved with or favor a particular charity or community organization? None at the moment, but would love to support the American Cancer Society.

Where were you born?
Olympia, WA and I grew up in Tumwater, WA
Any family details you’d like to share?
I am married to my high school sweetheart Andrew and we have 3 boys; Keenan, Patrick and Chandler. We also have 2 dogs, both boxers, Archer and Stella.
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
We live in Moses Lake, WA and our family is big on outdoor recreation including swimming/boating, taking our RZR to the dunes and our favorite is camping! I also love watching our boys play sports.
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order?
Mexican food is favorite, so yummy!
You meet someone at a coffee shop – what do you order?
Well it has to be a place that brews white coffee - if you have never tried it, you are missing out! My go to is Dutch Bros. White coffee white chocolate mocha.
Are you involved with or favor a particular charity or community organization?
My youngest son has a Congenital Heart Defect. When he had his first open heart surgery at 3 months old we stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. I plan to give back to RMHC in the near future and be involved with raising CHD awareness through different organizations/events.

What are you up to now?
BJ is now enjoying retirement! Jake Walker and the rest of our team are happy to assist you! Jake worked with BJ prior to his retirement to help a smooth transition!
Chad Erwin
Where were you born?
Butte, MT
Any family details you’d like to share?
I met my wife in MT while attending school. We moved to WA in 2008 to pursue our careers. Currently live in Bonney Lake with our two boys Connor and Collin.
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
If I’m not in the office, you’ll find me coaching youth sports, hanging out with family and friends, lifting weights in my home gym, attending concerts or traveling.
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order?
Breakfast spot – Country fried steak and eggs. Otherwise, trying different burgers or street tacos.
You meet someone at a coffee shop – what do you order?
Quad shot espresso or an Americano. No cream.
Eunice Avina
Where were you born?
I was born in Las Cruces, NM
Any family details you’d like to share?
I’m engaged to Raul. I have 1 daughter of my own named Khloe and I have 2 step kids, named Devin and Yahaira.
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
I spend my time with my daughter doing arts and crafts and playing with her. I also enjoy playing board games and having movie nights with my family. Family is everything to me!
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order?
My favorite restaurant is Italian food.
You meet someone at a coffee shop – what do you order?
If I meet someone at a coffee shop it will definitely be Dutch Bros. I like the Golden Eagle Chia.

I’m currently not involved since Covid, but I did volunteer at my local church.
Jake Walker

My wife Ali, our greyhound Chief and our two cats Marsha & Moe!
How do spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
I love to go to baseball games, play golf, watch football, and spend way too much time on my lawn.
You are going out to lunch – a favorite restaurant or thing to order?
My favorite restaurant is El Paraiso, they make the best Mexican food I’ve ever had and I’d call Flautas my favorite thing to eat.

Favorite book/movie/tv show?
Favorite book is Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, my favorite movie is either Django Unchained or The Big Lebowski. My favorite TV Show is ‘Devs’.
Kathy Sanders
Where were you born?
I was born on the East Coast and moved west when I decided to attend WSU.
Any family details you’d like to share?
I have been married for over 30 years and we have one son who lives right down the street from us! We have horses, dogs, and cats!
How do you spend time away from the office?
When I'm not in the office I'm usually in the barn or the arena working with my students of my Non-Profit that I run.
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order?
I'm a fairly healthy eater so salads, beans, tofu will keep me happy!
You meet someone at a coffee shop – what do you order?
A special occasion would call for a Chai Tea Latte but usually just coffee and half n half.
Favorite book?
I read alot of educational materials related to my interests, such as alternative healing methods and self help/growth type books.
Are you involved with or favor a particular charity or community organization?
I am co founder of an organization called Courageous Connections. We help a variety of people thru learning to ride horses and provide equine therapies to them as well. It is truly a passion of mine and I'm so grateful to be able to provide these services.

Any family details you’d like to share?
My partner and I have a beautiful daughter and love the Bonney Lake community that we live in! Our daughter is my playmate! We enjoy roller skating, movies, biking, basketball, soccer, etc. I also enjoy walking our dogs!
How do you spend time away from the office?
We are a sports family. When I am away from the office, I am either coaching my daughter in basketball or watching her play soccer. I enjoy getting together with friends and trying new restaurants, working out, going to movies and having date nights with my partner.
I am fortunate to be a part of a blended family. I have siblings that live in Oregon, Montana, California, and Texas. When we get together, we always have a great time.
Kim has enjoyed her 15+ years as an insurance agent after leaving her previous career in education. She is looking forward to many more years helping educate her clients about insurance

I was born in Selma, CA.

I moved here in Oct 2018.
Any family details you’d like to share?
I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters. My life revolves around my 15 y/o Paint Horse named Kalista and my 6 cats!
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
If I am not at the office, I spend my time training/riding Kalista.

Michelle Hancock

Where were you born?
Lowell, MA
If outside of WA when did you move here?
I was fairly young when we left the East Coast. My Dad’s sister was out here and our cousins and other family, so we moved west in 1980.
Any family details you’d like to share?
I have been married for over 30 years now! Wow! We are very proud of our two daughters. One is in college, seeking a career in medicine and one is a college graduate, is married and on our very own PNW Team! We also have 1 dog, 2 cats and a pond with fish!
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
We just enjoy being together and spending time with our extended family as well. Camping, Campfire time, games, baseball, volleyball and doing more day trips around home as well! I am a photographer (hobbyist) as well so I do that as much as I can.
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order?
I’m not a big fan of food or at least food that is good for you! Cheesecake is another story! But, I usually try to find something moderately healthy when eating out.

Boring, usually black coffee or tea.
Are you involved with or favor a particular charity or community organization?
The prevention of Veteran’s Suicide, in addition to any organization that helps our vets. Additionally, my sister runs a non-profit to help special needs people enjoy horses and learning to ride. Volunteering for the organization is a blessing! www.courageous-connections.org Staying out and active in the community is very important as well! Lots of great causes out there to support!
Payton Sward
Where were you born?
Kent WA, but reside in Puyallup WA now
Any family details you’d like to share?
I’m married to my wonderful husband; we have a smart and sassy 8 year old son. We also have 2 adorable rescue dogs. One is a Siberian Husky – he’s our talker, with a huge personality. Our newest addition is a puppy, he’s a GSD/Husky mix with one blue eye – he’s the sensitive one.
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
We’re huge on family time, so if we aren’t camping, we’re usually hanging in the backyard with friends or family around a fire, bbqing and relaxing! I do love some quiet reading time.
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order?
Anything fresh, a yummy salad, or sushi! Although some good Italian always hits the spot.

All the iced coffee you can feed me…lattes, cold crews, you name it.
Are you involved with or favor a particular charity or community organization?
The Tacoma Humane Society! I can’t keep adopting the dogs, so we donate and volunteer our time when we are able.
Renee Anderson
Where were you born? Vancouver, WA
Any family details you’d like to share? I have shared the last decade married to my husband and best friend Brady. We have 3 lovely children. three dogs and a toad.
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects? When I am not working on projects around the home, I enjoy homesteading, baking, everything outdoors, quilting and art.
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order? I enjoy all Asian foods. Thai, chinese, sushi, mongolian.
You meet someone at a coffee shop – what do you order? Depends on the season. I tend to lean more towards herbal medicinal teas.
Are you involved with or favor a particular charity or community organization? My heart leans towards those who are grieving from the loss of a loved one, specifically towards infant and perinatal loss. I like supporting organizations like the Healing Center and Healing Hearts Foundation. I am also a part of a local quilt group that makes quilts for those who have lost their home or a loved one. I eventually hope to create my own form of support one day.

Italian food is probably my favorite. I always judge a new Italian restaurant by their lasagna.

I support Rebuilding Together South Sound through one of my associations and also support clients' charity efforts throughout the year when they ask me.
Stephanie Rhoades
Where were you born? Everett WA
Any family details you’d like to share? I have a teenage son, Aeden. We have an oriental shorthair named Sagwa. I have a large blended family that includes my brother, 5 stepsiblings, and my dad and step-mom have 19 grandchildren!
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects? I enjoy spending time with my family at my happy places: The Woodland Park Zoo, the ball field, and Lake Conner.
You are going out to lunch – favorite restaurant or thing to order? I am a cheeseburger and fries kind of gal so Dicks Drive-In or McMenamins.

Are you involved with or favor a particular charity or community organization? Hand in Hand in Everett which serves children and families in crisis through outreach and foster support services for foster families.
Sarai Sword

I am originally from New Mexico.
If outside of WA when did you move here?
I moved to Washington 6 years ago from Texas
Any family details you’d like to share?
I have two younger sisters who live in New Mexico and Texas. I miss my parents and sisters but I LOVE the Pacific Northwest.
How do you spend time away from the office? Hobbies? Interests? Projects?
I love the outdoors. I go on 2-3 hikes a month during the summertime. I love Mariners baseball games and of course the Seahawks. When at home I love to paint, draw and read. I have a ginormous book collection. I speak fluent Spanish, a little bit of French and Learning how to speak Korean. Rosetta stone is the best. I make a killer salsa, from Tomatoes too… you will regret eating it, habanero.

I also volunteer at the Tacoma Rescue Mission every other month. I love giving back!
